Once more, with feeling
Jenny, in her benevolence, lent me Season Six of Buffy. It is not the greatest season, but I had forgotten how fantastic the musical episode is. Joss Whedon is SO good, people. The songs in this episode are so fun, so clever, so necessary to the episode and the season. It is right up there with the best episodes ever: "Innocence," "Becoming 1&2," "Doppelgangland," "Graduation Day 1&2," "Hush," "Who are You," "The Body," "The Gift," etc.
Really, is there anything more beautiful on a TV screen than the words "Written and Directed by Joss Whedon"?

Oh, I so totally agree!!
I have the whole series on DVD, and watch them from time to time, but my all time favourite is offcourse "once more, with feeling" the buffy musical. Amazing! Joss really nailed it there ;)
I generally love musicals, and I also love Buffy the vampire slayer, so combined, I have no words... I`m in "ahh".
Just one thing I wish were different... Willow (Alyson) should have sung more.. I know she didnt want to, but hey.. I think her voice is great, from the little singing we got to hear from her.
Favourite song-quote: "I think this lines mostly filler" (Willow - Walk through the fire)
Gets me smiling every time :)
And Anya.. Those bunnies :D
