On Saturday night Ted and Naomi threw a fantastic dinner party to welcome me into my early mid-thirties. Most of the usual suspects were in attendance. I especially appreciated seeing Naomi (who sliced off the tip of her thumb earlier that afternoon, and left her place in line in the emergency room to come back and host the party) and Doug (who left his kid in Alameda for the night). Mark and Christopher's duds were deemed gay-friendly and Rebecca and Brett both won "How Vietnamese is your shirt?" Kyle came after work and batted clean-up on the leftovers. For some reason Reb, Brett, Kyle, Ted and I were the only ones who wanted to do push-ups after dinner.

Nicole continues to tantalize me with the prospect of homemade armsocks, but John gave me a most unusual gift -- jokes about Ted.

A priest, a rabbi and Ted walk into a bar. The priest orders a gin and tonic, the rabbi orders a whiskey on the rocks. Ted says, "Give me a seltzer in a can and make it snappy."

How many Teds does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Two -- one to screw it in and one to make a list of rules about it.

helllooooo!

I'm glad you had a good time at your party! I'm sad I couldn't be there. I hope you had a great birthday.

I'm sad Jenny couldn't be there, too. And that I didn't get to see the annual all-girl Disco hour. Please tell me there's video...

Ted did push-ups? What were the rules?
