Que nadie deje a Baby en un rinconcito

God help me, I watched "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights" last night. An insult to the original, which is one of my favorites. Do you remember the awesome scene in the first movie where the hipster staff kids get the stodgy hotel guests dancing to the extended remix of "I've Had the Time of My Life"? Nothing even close to that happens in this movie. To its credit, it stops being insanely predictable right at the end (the lead couple actually doesn't win the big dance contest). That's about the best thing I can say about it, though. I'm going to have to go watch some "Masterpiece Theater" to counteract the effects of this terrible movie. Crappy chick flicks: I watch them so you don't have to.
