Ice ice baby

Jenny and I road-tripped to Daly City yesterday to catch a matinee of "Ice Princess." Nicole, despite goading me to go in the first place, declined to attend, citing a paper she had to write (ed. note: due in three weeks!)
What can I say about "Ice Princess"? There were holes in the plot you could skate through, but I enjoyed every minute of it. It was not exactly "Bring it On" on ice (except for the love story, which was virtually identical), but it really wasn't bad. There was a lot of figure skating, and who doesn't like figure skating? And, Michelle Trachtenberg will be a shoo-in for "Best Hair" during awards season next year. My only regret is that Sara wasn't there to watch it with us.
