Abra abra cadabra

Jodie, Michael B., Pam, Thom, David G. and I saw the greatest show at the Rickshaw Stop on Saturday night! "Fogstorm: Fully Loaded" was a ridiculously over-the-top parody of Las Vegas-style magic shows. The star, Stallion, was as charismatic, and as vain, as David Copperfield, Michael Flatley, Siegfried and Roy.

There was a little bit of actual magic, but most of the show's appeal lay in everything else: the multiple costume changes, pulsing theme music, robot dancing, lip-synched rap, martial arts demonstrations (magic + judo = majudo!), a tap routine to a medley of songs featuring the word "magic," plugs for fictional off-site training workshops, inspiring video testimonials and a fog machine that was working overtime.

All that said, you really had to be there. But trust me, it was brilliant.

He better watch it or GOB is going to kick his ass. Then again, maybe he is actually in the Magician's Union.

"fictional" workshops?!

WTF? if they're fictional, what did i give that guy in the lobby a check for $500 for? Does that mean i won't be learning the 5 point simultaneous 20 digit massage?
