Hella yeah!
Like so many excellent ideas, the plan for last Saturday's party was born at steak club. The conversation, as I dimly recall, went pretty much like this:
James and John: Some of our neighbors are fighting the proposed helipad on the roof of SF General Hospital.
The rest of us: They suck! Helicopters are cool.
Everyone: We should have a party.
Unlike almost every other excellent idea to come out of steak club, this one was actually executed. David G. (July steak club celebrity guest and MOST BACON co-founder) threw together a kick-ass flyer and James and John opened their house and garden to the coolest Mission residents we have e-mail addresses for. Turnout was great, the weather was unbelievable, and kind guests brought absinthe, brownies, and sparklers to share.
Post-BBQ Steve, James, John, Hunter, Charles, Sister Farrah and I brought the party to Underground SF, a divey gay bar in Lower Haight, and danced (to bad 80's music, my favorite kind!) until closing time.

I can't believe we couldn't make it to this party. It makes me wish that we did a YIMBY party for the Green Cross marijuana dispensary on 22nd St. Pot is cool.

That sounds like a cool party. Great flyer. What is Most Bacon? This reminds me of back in the day when the Jo-tel was cool and interesting.
