The First Steaksgiving

On Wednesday Hunter, Daniel, James, John and I celebrated Steaksgiving -- my new favorite made-up holiday. In deference to the occasion, we went out-of-neighborhood, all the way over to North Beach's El Raigon. We were thankful (steakful?) for each other's company, the baked provolone appetizer that was so good I think it was really a fried provolone appetizer, and the cow-themed decor. It was good but crazy expensive, so next month we're going back to our usual haunt for Steaksmas (Steakwanzaa if you ask James).
